The best course depends on your career goals. Door Supervisor is the most versatile as it allows work in both static guarding and door supervision roles. Security Guarding is for static positions only. CCTV is for public space surveillance roles, while Close Protection is for bodyguard work.
For Door Supervisor and Security Guarding courses, you must have a valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or equivalent certificate before starting. For Close Protection, you need Level-3 first aid. CCTV and CVIT courses don't require first-aid certification.
The Door Supervisor course typically takes 6 days (approximately 44+ contact hours) including all modules and assessments. We offer both intensive weekday and weekend schedules to accommodate different availability.
No, it's illegal to work in licensable security roles in the UK without a valid SIA licence. Our training provides the qualifications needed to apply for your licence, but you must complete the SIA application process separately.
The SIA considers criminal records on a case-by-case basis. Some convictions may disqualify you, while others may not. We recommend checking the official guidance and being transparent in your application.
Monday - Friday: 9am - 6pm

Training prepares you for licence-linked qualifications. SIA licences are issued by the UK Security Industry Authority. Meeting training requirements does not guarantee a licence.
